Mary VanDrie joined our team in 2016 after 30+ years in practice. Mary has worked in a variety of settings, including a private practice, Sparrow Hospital, and Michigan Department of Mental Health all in Lansing Michigan, giving her a well-rounded background. Mary joins Dr. Brenda Beckrow-McCann in expanding the Hearing Institute of Western Michigan in order to provide our patients with the best and most up to date audiological and hearing aid services in our Ludington and Manistee offices. Offering caring and honest service, as if each patient were our own loved one. We hope that our services and products will exceed expectations.
“I chose this field because I really enjoyed the technical aspects and the satisfaction of helping improve the quality of life for my patients. My now adult son is deaf and has worn a cochlear implant since age 5. I know what it’s like to have a hearing impaired family member. I’m very aware that each case has individual needs and I hope that my patients can achieve the very best communication skills they can develop.”
Mary is a sacristan and Eucharistic minister at her church, an active Right-To-Life member and on the board of directors for her condo association.
